New old stock
This venerable 1975 Range Rover Classic was comprehensively restored from ground up to take this old classic (rescued from the northern expanses of Sweden) back to it’s glorious past — and then some. After a painstaking three-year restoration where every nut, bolt, washer and bracket was restored, replaced, or refurbished, this vertical grille, two-door Range Rover Classic is simply stunning.
The car is finished in a high-gloss Beluga Black and rolls on Rostyle steel wheels with custom fitted center caps. Xenon headlights illuminate the road ahead and bonnet mounted round rear view mirrors complete the vintage look. The interior is finished in a handcrafted saffron-colored velour with Palomino-colored leather accents on seats and cubby. The floor is covered in a dark brown shag carpet with beige leather edge trim and protected by beige custom floor mats. The cabin is cooled by a custom air conditioning system and sound provided by an Alpine system consisting of a bluetooth head unit, four speakers, amplifier and subwoofer.
But under the hood
A new world-engine powers the old classic to a new future; the engine has been swapped for a modern 6.2L V8 crate engine rated at 420hp and 425lb ft of torque. Shifting is done through a modern six-speed automatic mated to a rebuilt transfer case. The drivetrain has been meticulously fitted into the car with a aluminum radiator, power steering cooling system, upgraded performance disc brakes, and custom exhaust system. This wolf-in-sheep’s-clothes rumbles and crackles and pops as it speeds off. No old-school speeds here.
