Cleaning up heritage

This client-owned FJ40, based in the Hamptons on Long Island, came in for a big overhaul. Many years of use and wear had accumulated and it was time to get things looking sharp again and make the icon proud. Mechanicals and driveline were overhauled, air conditioning installed, and much, much time spent on the body and correcting years of unforgiving corrosion, from front to back and from under to top. The car was repainted in the original Toyota Sky Blue.

  • Hardtop with full front doors and rear ambulance doors

  • Two front bucket seats

  • Two rear sideways mounted benches

  • Under dash air conditioning system
