This iconic Toyota Land Cruiser has been comprehensively restored to incorporate the vintage feeling from the earlier FJ60. Painted in old-school Dune Beige, it’s a clean, elegant and classy take that embodies its heritage while keeping it up to date with a touch of modern technology.
The FJ62’s automatic gearbox and power steering give ease to wandering off the beaten path. The FJ62 inherits other upgrades versus the previous FJ60, including electric windows, power locks, temperature sensor and upgraded dash board (in which we have custom-fitted a big-screen Apple Car Play head unit – not to mention a custom made, high-capacity air conditioning system.
Easy breezy
The 60-series large windows demand a meticulously restored interior – light and airy tan leather is flanked by German weave carpet throughout. The plastic parts were restired and converted from gray to brown to match the interior design palette. A classy wooden steering wheel rounds things out for that oh-so-Montauk feel.
