Going everywhere in style

Back to basics is a study in assembling fundamental elements that work perfectly together. This 1988 Defender 90, powered by a 3.5L V8 and five-speed manual gearbox, embodies this approach. The full frame off restoration pulls together the classic British Racing Green paint scheme with our own handcrafted gray mohair soft top and hand crafted camel colored interior in just such a perfect package. 

Beautiful on the inside

Sourced in Switzerland, the build underwent thousands of manhours of painstaking and meticulous restoration to reach its new pristine condition. The build received tasteful upgrades throughout, including a new manifold and single Weber carb, LED round lamps front and rear, NAS rear bumper step, center console with double-DIN Apple Car Play enabled media receiver and premium sound, power windows, air conditioning, quad LED lamp front bumper, custom made white-face Legacy Overland gauges, among many other tweaks.  

The interior of the build was designed in consultation with the client, using camel vegan leather with black piping detail as the upholstery material of choice. Dashboard, front seats, cubby box, doors and the four rear jump seats were all dressed up and the floor protected by Land Rover rubber mats. The soft top is our own design and handmade especially for this build, incorporating more see-through areas for a sunnier view of the world.
