Old country workhorse

A true testament to the hard toiling work ethics of past generations, this 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ45 long bed pick-up truck has been meticulously restored with every nut and bolt examined, restored or replaced. The old faithful, 6-cylinder diesel engine has been carefully rebuilt with parts sourced from barns in the Australian outback and across dusty garages in Europe to get the old iron block put righteous again. Mechanically everything is rebuilt to exacting standards with selective enhancements carefully applied, including power steering and air conditioning. Old Man Emu 2” lift kit keeps the 45 sitting solid on Daytona beadlock rims.

Dressed up for country

Finished in a horse country satin green paint job, the bed has been painted with a matching color rhino liner to not just get the nod of any discerning cowboy hat, but also have the brawns to haul your stuff when so called upon. The cabin provides a rugged, but refined, space to saddle up to those dusty miles of dirt road head with the bench style seat upholstered in distressed full grain leather and the floor covered in charcoal German square weave carpet.

Some modern touches have made their way in including a Dakota Digital gauge cluster, well-integrated double DIN nav screen with Apple Car Play, USB charging port, back up camera, premium sound system - and a truck operated with custom fabricated billet pull-knobs mirroring the old style ones found on land cruisers of the past. LED lamps light the way front and back, while an old school hand held work lamp can be used when needed to light up the side of the road maybe while working the mechanical winch operated through the transfer case that has been faithfully restored. Time to saddle up and head for high country.
