Safety First
Safety takes center stage with the addition of a custom-fabricated roll cage for this 1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43. Built for durability and finished in black, the roll cage not only offers robust protection but also gives the vehicle a rugged, ready-for-anything look. Along with the roll cage, we installed a rear forward facing bench with seat belts to meet modern safety standards, ensuring passengers are secure while maintaining the vehicle’s classic off-road appeal.
Steering and Suspension Overhaul
For enhanced drivability and precise handling, we overhauled the FJ43’s steering and suspension. New tie rod ends and a steering tie rod were installed, followed by a precision alignment, ensuring responsive steering both on- and off-road. We also upgraded the tie rod drag link, giving the Land Cruiser improved control and handling in even the most challenging conditions.
Ignition and Electrical System Revamp
A dependable ignition system is essential, so we upgraded the electrical components of the FJ43 with a new ignition lock cylinder, ignition coil, ignition contact, and coil resistor. These updates provide reliable starts and smooth engine performance, ensuring the vehicle’s dependability on any adventure. Electrical issues were also addressed, guaranteeing the system operates flawlessly and efficiently.
Gas Tank and Differential Services
To increase security, we fitted a locking gas tank lid to prevent unauthorized access to the fuel system. We also performed a comprehensive differential service, ensuring the drivetrain is prepared for rugged off-road conditions and extended reliability. This critical maintenance step extends the Land Cruiser's longevity and its ability to conquer demanding terrains.
